For our latest blog post we are showcasing the beautiful elopement of Mary and Oliver at the historically important Old Marylebone Town Hall.
LETS RUN AWAY TOGETHER!
Kazooieloki Lincolnshire Wedding Photographer were super excited to be Mary and Oliver's Old Marylebone Hall Wedding Photographer.
THE STORY
Oliver is a thirty one year old engineer who turned his passion for boxing into a way to help pay for the wedding. He traded his tools for boxing gloves and fought as a journeyman at the weekends.
Mary, a business advisor for a FMCG company comes from a fashion / design background.
and loves the finer details which is why she chose to spend money on embroidered gloves and engraved perfume bottles to keep as memories, over an expensive dress she’d wear once.
Jasper;
The third person on the day was of course Jasper, Oliver’s 8 year old son. He likes rugby, football and was the best man & ring barer for this secret elopement.
He also managed to keep the secret for a further month until they told everyone.
WHY ELOPE?
Mary and Oliver both felt the pressure of having a large wedding was getting the better of them and felt that we were considering everyone else's needs and feelings above their own. In Mary's own words "after all, it was supposed to be our big day".
It was time to put themselves first!
Back in October 2023 in the middle of planning their large wedding Mary first suggested eloping to Oli.
She was anxious to as what Oli would say. Oli's face lit up and soon agreed it was the best idea ever.
They kept their elopement a complete secret, even to Jasper, so they could all share the most intimate and best day together.
THE VENUE: Old Marylebone Town Hall Wedding Photography
Mary had always loved The Old Marylebone Town Hall with its rich history and architectural significance. The Paddington room was perfect for their intimate ceremony.
Built in the early 20th century, it features a striking neoclassical design and has been a key site for civil ceremonies, including many high-profile weddings.
The building has also played a role in various cultural events and has appeared in numerous films and television shows.
THE BIG DAY
We set off early from home to catch the 07.22am London Kings Cross from Doncaster Station with an excited spring in our steps.
After a couple of LNER Coffee's we arrived in Kings Cross with the usual overwhelming size of the place and how the frik were we going to plan the underground!
A few swear words and stresses later we arrived at Mary and Olivers Air BnB and were greeted by their warmth. We knew this would be an amazing day straight from the off.
Chatting through THE most relaxed morning prep ever like we were old friends until we all jumped in a Uber and headed to The Old Marylebone Town Hall.
A beautifully emotional ceremony was followed by a wander through the streets, an impromtu pint and photoshoot in The Marylebone London Pub and onto the final pit stop of this incredible journey... where else but Five Guys for a burger and chips.
We always say weddings are about people, and this wedding day was very much about Mary, Oliver and Jasper and their love for each other.
ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPHERS!

Our aim has always been to tell a story of your wedding day through natural photographs rather than ones that have been staged and posed by your photographer.
We believe that your wedding photography should be as individual as you are and capture every moment in its amazing honesty, it should be natural, relaxed and most of all it should be fun.
Here are some memories from Mary and Oliver's beautiful wedding day. A wedding day we were not only photographers but also witnesses. Something that we are incredibly proud of.
These guys are beautiful human beings.
