For our latest blog post we are back at one of our most popular wedding venues, the beautiful Hirst Priory.
HOLLY & ROSS // FAMILY IS EVERYTHING
Kazooieloki Wedding Photographer in Lincolnshire were truly honoured to be Holly & Ros's Hirst Priory Wedding Photographer.
We have never actually done a head count to see which venue we have photographed at the most over the years but at a guess Hirst Priory would be very close to the top.
Our great friends at Serentipi provided the tipi which as always stood magnificently proud in the grounds.
Adorned with flowers, fairy lights, and rustic decor it created an atmosphere that was both whimsical and grounded in nature's embrace.
But beyond this aesthetic beauty, was a sense of togetherness and family spirit that truly defined this wedding.
THE BIG DAY!
When we first met Holly and Ross on a zoom call with their kids climbing all over them we knew instantly how important family was going to be at their wedding.
Having a real family bond ourselves this alwasys resonates with us on a wedding day, so as the big day approached we were super excited for the day ahead.
Holly and Ross didn't want any formalities, just a wedding day that reflected who they are as people and involved their family and friends having an epic time.....the perfect blueprint for a wonderful day.
A close knit family of four, Holly and Ross are clearly known known for their warm hearts and vibrant personalities and very much wanted their children involved in the wedding day.
The couple had decided to exchange their vows in the woodland setting of Hirst Priory, surrounded by lush greenery and the laughter of loved ones. Always a perfect settimg if the good old English weather holds up.
The morning of the wedding was a flurry of activity. Rustic garden games and styling, adorned the entrance of the tipi, leading guests to a garden transformed into a magical venue. Fairy lights twinkled in the daylight, promising an enchanting daytime and evening celebration.
The ceremony began as the sun shone in the sky and the weather gods had been kind to Holly and Ross. Holly, with her father by her side, walked down the woodland aisle as the air was filled with anticipation and love as Ross awaited his bride at the front.
As they exchanged heartfelt vows, promising to embark on a lifetime journey together their daugher made a run for it down the aisle wanting to be close to mummy and daddy providing us with the opportunity for one of the years most memorable images.
The afternoon reception unfolded in this perfect setting, with the warmth and love of family and friends and the sounds of laughter and music drifting through the air.
A surprise appearance of a singing waiter became a stage for joyful celebration as family and friends danced the night away as Holly and Ross surprised everyone, totally smashing the dancefloor and leaving all their guests cheering.
A truly memorable wedding, a story of love and the union of family.
